Louise Bastable Architects is a young practice based in Frome, Somerset, working closely with clients to develop exciting and elegant Architecture.
Initial concepts are informed by light and simplicity, furthered through close client collaboration, developing projects into individual and bespoke designs which reflect clients personalities blended with the Architecture that has evolved from the sites context.
Designs are innovative and cost-effective and wherever possible a sustainable approach is integrated from an early stage.
Louise can undertake a full or partial design service tailored to meet client requirements, including feasibility studies, detailed design, planning applications, the preparation of tender and construction documents, along side the management of the project from inception to completion.
Louise Bastable
Educated at Liverpool University, Louise has more recently worked with Nicolas Tye Architects, where she was primarily involved in a variety of contemporary and traditional residential schemes including new private houses, residential extensions and barn conversions. Previously as an associate at MEPK Architects, Louise was responsible for a number of developer led schemes, social housing and school projects which followed a year working with R. Rast Architekten, a practice based in Bern, Switzerland.
